This trek also known as the small Annapurna Circuit is a very popular one in Nepal. The highest point of this trek is (3210 mtrs). The highlight is an early morning pilgrimage to Poon Hill for a spectacular sunrise view over the Himalayas where the mountains stretch. Ghandruk village, Ghorepani village and Dhampus are the beautiful and the historical villages in this region. As far as the eye can see North towards Tibet, West towards the Dhaulagiri Himal and East with superb views of the Annapurna range. Not a difficult trek but it helps if you have a reasonable degree of fitness. This trek is considered to be the best introduction to trekking with some spectacular views. In spite of the great heights of the surrounding peaks and ice walls, the valley floor between 12,000 and 14,000 ft. can provide comfortable settlements.

Day 01 : Arrival to Kathmandu (1380mtrs)

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu (TIA), our representative from Adventure Team will be there to pick you up. You will be transfer to hotel in half an hour drive with private vehicle. We discuss about our trip and you have time for refreshment. In the evening we are together again for welcome dinner in typical nepalese restaurant with cultural program.

Day 02 : Half day sightseeing in Kathmandu (1380mtrs)

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up for half day sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa. You will have your lunch in the restaurant with the view of Stupa then you back to hotel. You will meet your trek leader and discuss about the trek and do last minutes arrangements.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara and trek to Ulleri(1900mtrs) 5-6hours

At Pokhara airport, you will meet rest of trek crew and a short drive of about an hour from Pokhara brings you to a trailhead at Birethanti, a busy village of lodges, shops and houses. You commence your trek with a gradual ascent along the left bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. You then leave the river and follow a trail along the upper edge of terraced fields through Hile to Tikhedhunga. Thereafter, you cross a stream beyond the village and then drop down to the suspension bridge over the Bhurungdi Khola. Then you climb a long, steep and seemingly endless stone staircase, which eventually leads you to the village of Ulleri. Overnight at Ulleri

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani (2775mtrs)

As you ascend along the path that leads to a forest, you will find Annapurna South, hidden by a ridge. Beyond Banthanti, there are magnificent forests of oak and rhododendron trees. After crossing several crystal-clear mountain streams, you arrive at the village of Nangethanti. Another few hours of trekking through the forest, you reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani literally means “horse water” and is a popular watering spot for mules, which supply this route from Pokhara to Jomsom and beyond.

Day 05: Trek to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,680m): 6 – 7 hours

To catch the sunrise over the Himalayas, we make an early morning climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3,210m), the most popular trekking destination of the Annapurna region. It is also a great viewpoint to enjoy the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the high mountains including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The snowy peaks of the high mountains loom above and around us glowing in the morning light. After taking photographs, we return back to Ghorepani. After breakfast, we head east and climb a nearby ridge. We descend through rhododendron forests, pass by spectacular waterfalls and reach Tadapani to spend the night.

Day 06: Trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hours trek and 1 hour drive

The trek from Tadapani until Ghandruk will be through a thick forest of rhododendron trees. After trekking for a while, we enter the village of Ghandruk, a slope settlement with stone houses mostly inhabited by the Gurung people. From here, we enjoy the towering views of the Fishtail, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains. We trek further to Naya Pul then drive to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 07: Drive to Kathmandu: 5-6 hours

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful lake city of Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu we have the rest of the day off to rest or do some souvenir shopping. To celebrate the successful completion of our journey, we will have a farewell dinner in the evening.

Day 08: Departure

We will transfer you to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination. You must leave hotel 3 hours earlier than your scheduled flight time.
