Gosainkunda Holy Lake Trek is a very famous  trek in Langtang region. Gosainkunda Lake situated at the altitude of 4,380m. The Lake that freezes during the winter and melt to form a source of Trisuli River during the summer. Gosainkunda is holy place for both Hindus and Buddhists. The trek starts from Dhunche and end at Sundarijal. This 12 days Gosainkunda Holy Lake trekking trail takes you to different natural and cultural attractions of the Langtang region, that offer a perfect blend of diverse cultural harmony and natural beauty. Trekkers can enjoy the view of the majestic peaks of Ganesh himal and Langtang himal. Moreover, Yak Cheese factory – managed by local people at Chandanbari, sunset and sunrise view of Langtang and Ganesh Himal from Lauribinayak, Rhododendron and Pine forest featuring rare species of flora and fauna, monasteries and temples are some of the major attractions of the Gosainkunda trek. March to May and September to December are the best months to plan Goainkunda Trek. However, planning your trek during Janai Purnima festival in the month of August, gives you the extra benefit of enjoying the festival along with Hindu devotees from Nepal and India. But in that time it’s quiet hard to get room in lodges. The maximum height achieved during the trek is 4,610m (Lauribina Pass); therefore, this trekking to Gosainkunda Lake can be planned by any healthy and physically fit person ready to conquer the altitude. Adventure Team can custom design Gosainkunda trek itinerary according to your budget and the number of days you are planning to spend in Nepal, if in case our standard 12 days Gosainkunda Trek package doesn’t fit your requirements. However, if you are looking for shorter or longer Langtang region treks, then you can try including Langtang Valley Trek if you want longer and you can try just Langtang Valley for shorter. The accommodation is arranged in a tourist standard hotel in Kathmandu and local guesthouses and lodges during the trek. The package price also includes full board meal during the trek. The journey starts with 6 to 7 hours jeep ride to Dhunche. The actual trek starts from Dhunche and continues till Sundarijal that finally ends with an hour bus ride to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu, transfer to hotel
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu (TIA), our representative from Adventure Team will be there to pick you up. You will be transfer to hotel in half an hour drive with private vehicle. We discuss about our trip and you have time for refreshment. In the evening we are together again for welcome dinner in typical nepalese restaurant with cultural program.
Day 02: Drive to Dhunche
Today, you are driving to Dhunche after breakfast, it takes 5-6 hours. You will drive by Public bus or Toyota Land Cruiser, It depends on your group size. It’s the first night in Mountain, Overnight at guest house.
Day 03: Trek to Sing gompa/Chandanbari
The trek begin from Dhunche after breakfast, the trail gently up to the river side and it goes step up till Deurali. The trail goes snaky up to the army camp and it goes again step up to  Sing gompa/Chandanbari. It is quiet tough day for the first day trek. In Sing gompa there is  cheese factory where you explore local way to make cheese. Also there is monastery made of wood that’s why the place is called Sing gompa.
Day 04: Trek to Lauribinayak
This day is a shortest trekking day of the trip, it goes just gently up to Cholangpati through the forest of rhododendron and pine trees. After here, the trail goes slightly step up to Lauribinayak. This place is the best view point for Langtang himal,Ganesh himalayan range on the top and green forest just on bottom.
Day 05: Trek to Gosainkunda
With a steep ascent all the way to Gosaikunda. You follow a rugged trail with dramatic views to the Manaslu range, Ganesh Himal range, Tibetan peaks and Langtang Lirung. On a clear day, even the Annapurna range can be seen rising up behind and to the north also across the valley is Langtang Lirung. You pass a few huts in the high pasture of Laurebinayak, cross a small ridge and have your first views of the holy lake of Gosaikunda. There are about a dozen lakes in the Gosainkunda Basin the main three being Saraswatikunda, Bhairabkunda and Gosainkunda.
Day 06: Leisure day
We explore the lakes and hike to Surya peak for panoramic view of some himalayan ranges or just ralax and do some meditation/yoga in this holy place.
Day 07: Trek to Fedi
This day, The trail leaves Gosaikund and climbs through rugged country, past four small lakes to the Laurebina La (4610meters), the highest point of this trek. Keep looking back at the spectacular views of Manaslu and the mountains of the Ganesh Himal, as well as the familiar Langtang Lirung. You then step down quiet long to Fedi .
Day 08: Trek to Tharepati
The trek begin with gently up on down hill to ghopte and it goes future stony path to Tharepati.it is short day  so free afternoon to enjoy the view of green forest and himalayan.
Day 09: Trek to Tarkeghyang (2560mtrs)
After break fast trail goes down to  Melamchi Khola. Then we trek up to Tarkeghyang passing through Sherpa settlements. Discover the village and its monastery which is one of the oldest and biggest monasteries in the Helambu region. Helambu is the fimely name of Buddhist people  which  was came from helmu cast .stay overnight at guest house

Day 10: Trek to Sermathang (2,610mtrs)
Today is easy walk by passing  forests, streams, and waterfalls. The trail makes a sweep around the wide valley end between Parachin and the Sherpa village. Then we get Sermathang. Discover the village. There is also a Buddhist monastery at the highest point of the village. Stay overnight at guest house

Day 11: Trek to Malemchi  Bazaar and  drive to Kathmandu
On our final day of the trek, we walk down to Malemchi  Bazaar. The village is mostly coverd by the Sherpa, but there are also people of other ethnicities.  At the bazaar there will be private transport from adventure team then we drive to Kathmandu .stay overnight at hotel

Day 12: Depature
We will transfer you to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination. You must leave 3 hours earlier than your scheduled flight time.
